Habitat Happenings

Henderson Habitat is involved in many public events throughout the year – from groundbreaking moments, volunteer and customer appreciation events, the Annual Tri-Fest 5K Race, housing fairs, partner family educational classes to home dedications, as well as many other special events. In the fall of 2019, we also hosted our very first online raffle!  We are happy to report it was a success with raising $42,500! Since then held 8 more bourbon raffles that were all sellouts! Our biggest raffle to date was our most recent in the fall of 2023 that sold out 10,000 tickets in a mere 44 days with 32 bourbon collections given away! It has been a blessing to our small Henderson Habitat Affiliate and getting to meet all the bourbon winners in person!  (Let me tell ya they were so happy about their prize collections too!)  As with every event like this that we do, our goal is helping provide families in the community with more safe and affordable housing and with this an opportunity to learn more about what Habitat is and how it works. To meet past, present and future Habitat homeowners, and to see the impact all the volunteers make each day! Habitat loves to help build affordable, energy-efficient homes and thriving communities. We love to be involved in the community and with our other fellow non-profits to always give a helping hand.
