Our Mission

Habitat for Humanity is an international, non-governmental, nonprofit organization devoted to building simple, decent and affordable housing. We believe everyone deserves a decent and safe place to live. We want to help give a hand up, not a hand out.

Through out the year we offer many ways to help get involved with Habitat of Henderson. There are fundraisers such as Pass the Toolbox, Habitat's Annual Tri-Fest 5K Run, the $25 Dollar Club and our exclusive Voucher Program. These events are just a few of the ways we keep the community involved with our mission to help build safe, decent and affordable homes in Henderson County. The ReStore is another way we stay in tune with the community. There are events hosted thru the ReStore to raise awareness of the housing crisis and how alternative ways to help give back without having to lift a hammer.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Consider giving up just a few hours of your time to learn valuable skills, meet some incredible new people and change the lives of local families forever.
