American Flag Fundraiser
In 2022, Henderson Habitat launched the Annual American Flag Program with generous support from Independence Bank, which donated brand-new American flags. Starting in May, we’ll proudly place a 7-foot flagpole and American flag in yards across the community. The annual membership is $60 per flag, and you can order multiple flags to suit your space. Placement of each flag is at the sole discretion of the member. Flags will be displayed by Memorial Day and collected by July 20th, then reinstalled by Patriot Day and stored after November 21st for the following year.
We’re also offering graveside flag placements for $30 annually, following the same schedule as the larger flags. These flags provide a beautiful way to honor loved ones and support safe, affordable housing in our community.
Please note that we have a limited number of flags—only 100 will be available for the 2024 season. Once these are reserved, new memberships will open again in late November for 2025.
